Chasing the sun.

Hi guys!! (: School's reopening in 3days and I still can't get over how fast time flies when you're having fun ): Kind of not looking forward to school reopening though at the same time I really am haha. Anyway, I went to Universal Studios yesterday with Kelly(ng) and I had loads of fun with her :D Shall start blogging about that nowwww :)))

I woke up at 7am in the morning to bathe and prepare myself to meet Kelly at Harbourfront MRT at 9am so that we can go to USS earlier and not squeeze with the crowd. We reached USS at around 9.20 or so, so we went to buy the tickets and started to queue so that we can get into USS as early as possible. At about 9.45am, Kung Fu Panda actually appeared at the gates to greet everyone there and I really wanted to go up to the front to take a photo with him but if me and Kelly left the queue, we would have to go to the back of the queue and start queuing all over again so we decided against it. When we first entered USS, me and Kelly decided to be the typical kiasu Singaporeans and we ran all the way to the Transformers 3D ride. We started the ride and I started to feel a little giddy cos of the 3D glasses so I took it off but the graphics still seemed so real and it was really really cool. Had loads of fun on that ride even though it was kind of scary haha :)

After we went on the Transformers ride, we went to take the Battlestar Galactica-HUMAN ride and I almost died on that ride. It was the worst 90seconds of my life and I came down the ride feeling really dizzy and I almost couldn't walk properly. The roller coaster was moving at such an inhumane speed I swear. It was like the scariest ride ever so I didn't even dare to try the Battlestar Galactica-CYLON ride when Kelly went on it. So after the HUMAN ride, my stomach felt super queasy and I could feel my stomach turning and I felt like puking but it still wasn't as bad so me and Kelly went to ride on the Revenge of the Mummy and it was so dark and the ride was really fast and I felt like I was dying. Then there was this part of the ride where the roller coaster suddenly plunged backwards and I was screaming like OMG WHAT THE HELL and my stomach plunged so I really felt like puking after that. Then after going on Revenge of the Mummy, we went on the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure and I felt really dizzy cos the boat was spinning and jerking a little and I puked a little on the boat (eww) and I felt really sick after that, and I was kind of regretting going on the rides before that and I actually felt like going home haha.

Afterwards, Kelly wanted to go on the Battlestar Galactica-CYLON so I waited for her below and I found a place to sit down and rest, and when she came back, we started walking a little before I felt like puking again so I grabbed some random plastic bag from my bag and just started to empty my stomach. I felt really disgusting and sick but at least none of it got on to my clothes. I felt a lot better after wards and I started to enjoy myself again. We went to watch a musical called Monster Rock after that and it was so cool. They were singing songs like I Got A Feeling, Party Rock, Sexy and I Know It, Born This Way, Nobody by Wonder Girls and many other songs that were quite familiar to all of us and I was back to normal after that cos I felt kind of high after that hahaha. After Monster Rock, me and Kelly went to take the ride Madagascar, A Crate Adventure which was kind of a boring ride except for that last part where there'll be this "bomb" exploding and so if you're not prepared by it, you'll be shocked by it and your face will be just priceless :P

We went for lunch after the Madagascar ride, and we ate at some place called Marty's Casa Del Wild and the food inside was really ex (though almost everything at USS is ex) and the food wasn't as nice. I didn't eat anything though cos I didn't feel like eating so I watched as Kelly ate before heading off for the ride called Sesame Street Spaghetti Space Chase which I thought was a roller coaster so I asked Kelly to go for it first before coming out to tell me what it's like. So while she went in to wait, I walked around to take some photos, and there was a band outside called Daddy O's singing and I took photos of the various shops which are designed with Sesame Street characters and they're so cute. Kelly didn't manage to go on that ride though cos there was some malfunction inside so we walked around to The Lost World again where I bought a corn dog as my lunch. It was actually quite nice and we walked back to Ancient Egypt and Sci-Fi City to take some photos and we managed to take a photo with a robot, and we stole shots of Optimus Prime hehe :P After that, Kelly wanted to try out the CYLON ride again so I waited for her again, and I went to the shop called Transformers Supply Vault to look for something nice for my bro but I didn't buy anything cos the things in there were kind of ex. In the end, I bought him this coin thing with Optimus Prime on it since he loves collecting these coins, and it wasn't that expensive. I was really glad that I thought of buying him something unlike the previous times where I would go out and forget about buying him something since he couldn't go with me. And I'm really glad he likes what I bought for him :)

Afterwards, Kelly came back and we went to watch the Shrek 4D adventure and it was really nice and fairy tale-ish and it was quite a nice show overall :) After the show, Kelly wanted to go on Revenge of the Mummy again so I graciously bailed (or I'll puke again) and I waited for her to come back while I went around to take pics again hahaha so I have a lot of random Egyptian looking pics in my camera now. I'll post them below :) When Kelly came back, we went to buy a drink which tasted quite good cos it was cold and refreshing and it made our tongue blue. We decided to try out the Spaghetti Space Chase ride again after wards and I realised that it was only some really kiddish ride so we got to take a look at the different Sesame Street characters and Kelly told me that she has never watched Sesame Street. Like WHAT HAS SHE BEEN DOING HER ENTIRE CHILDHOOD MAN OMG!!! We watched a Sesame Street Show after wards and I took some photos of Cookie Monster, Oscar (the trash guy) and Bert (Elmo's buddy) dancing and I felt like a kid all over again. Don't judge me, I'm still a kid at heart HAHAHA. OH OH and did I mention I managed to take a pic of Elmo on the ride and it was soooo cute hahahah.

After the street show, we started to walk around in to shops and be bimbo and take random photos before we went to make our student pass which looks like an IC. Then we went out to shop again and I saw Woody and Winnie the woodpeckers so I ran up to them and I dragged Kelly along to take pics with them. THEY ARE SO CUTE AND SO FUNNY HAHA. Winnie even hooked her hand in mine when we were taking the pic :D (I'm talking about them like I just met my favourite celebrity star WHAT hahaha). Then after that, we went back to the Madagascar ride again before going on the Enchanted Airways (a roller coaster) and I had a lot of fun on that cos it wasn't that fast and I felt good after the ride :) When we came down from the ride, we saw Pinocchio so we went to take a picture with him before we went home.

That's the end of the pics :) I had a really great day with Kelly at USS and I'm really looking forward to going again sometime during the November hols with the girls :) Though I didn't feel that good at the start of the day, it gradually got better, and I started to enjoy myself and I had a really fun day overall :) I shall stop blogging now. HI GUYS :D I'm now officially FIFTEEN HAHA. I don't feel any different though, maybe a little older hahaha.

Saturday
I had tuition in the morning till about 1 plus cos my tuition teacher came late. The haze that day was terrible and the PSI was just complete BS but thankfully, it has gotten better ever since. Then after that, I just kind of lazed around and used the com/ watch TV till around dinner time. Afterwards, I had an early birthday celebration. No pictures to post cos most of them are in the camera and my dad's yet to transfer it into the com so maybe at a later time :)

Sunday
Went out in the morning at around 10+ to the newly opened JEM at Jurong East and it's actually quite a nice place to shop. They have a gigantic 3 level H&M, Cotton On, Top Shop, Uniqlo and it would have been better if there was Forever21 but oh well. We had lunch at Macs, IKR MACS but at least I got to try the new honey mustard sauce :) So after that we just walked around and window shopped a bit cos I already bought my birthday present and then we had dinner at some Thai restaurant.

I actually started off my birthday really well cos I woke up to my parents wishing me happy birthday and my bro giving me a soft toy for a present (no pic haha) then after that, when I switched on my phone, I had an sms from Karyn to wish me happy birthday. Then after breakfast, I went to the com to try my luck with twitter and I MANAGED TO GO IN WOOHOO and I had a tweet from Charlotte who wished me happy birthday at just after 12 so I'm really happy :D

I dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life

Hi guys(: I just realised that there's about 2 weeks left for the June Holidays and I'm already starting to feel that dread of going back to school already, but I shan't think about that now. Anyway, back to the topic :)

Sunday
It's father's day and so we went out in the late morning to go to City Hall for lunch at some Vietnamese restaurant and the food there is really good :) then afterwards, me and my mum went to somerset 313 to shop hahah and we bought some clothes there before we walked to takashimaya to join my dad and my bro. After that, we just kind of walked around the area before we walked to ION orchard for dinner at The Soup Spoon and the soup there is really really good. For those who have never tried it, you guys have to! :) So we basically celebrated Father's day that way and last but not least, Happy Father's Day dad, though it's a late post lol :)

Monday
Went to meet Kelly(gan) and Xiao Fei at Tanah Merah MRT before going to Kelly(ng)'s house to do ACE project. We were doing our ACE project, and finding songs to listen to while we're doing our project, then after that Kelly(ng)'s helper cooked lunch for us before we went up to continue finishing up our ACE project. Quite proud of ourselves since it was quite a productive day. Then after we completed our ACE, we went to the playground near Kelly's house to play the swing and I didn't want to step into the playground at first cos there's sand there but I gave in, in the end. Then after that, Kelly(ng) came up with the idea of running up the slide cos it would be really hard with sand on our feet, and she asked me to try doing that and I swear I completely embarassed myself ): When I ran up the slide, I thought I would be able to make it, but I slipped and I fell FACE FLAT on the slide and my legs banged really hard against the slide, it has really big bruises on it now and they're swollen so it hurts when I walk. MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT OF MY LIFE and I swear I'm NEVER gonna do that EVER AGAIN. And then being the really really nice friends they all are, they just stood there laughing at my embarrassing moment. How comforting. But anyway, after we were all done with the slide and the seesaw, I decided to stop playing at the play ground in case I get embarrased (hurt) more and so I just watched the Kellies (okay is there even such a word hahaha) play while Xiao Fei went off first. After that, me and Kelly(gan) went to Kelly(ng)'s house to clean up before we went down to eat and drink, and at the same time talk and about 20-30mins later, we went home. Apart from the part where I completely embarrassed myself, it was a really fun and productive day overall. :)

And now, I'm praying that my mum and my dad will allow me to go to USS with the Kellies and maybe some other people that we'll ask along later, some time next week. I'm really really looking forward to it you know :/

On another note, 5 more days! :))

Hi guys(:  I'm currently stuck on listening to Clarity by Zedd ft. Foxes. A bit lag uhh I know haha, but I'm seriously in love with this song and I've clicked on the replay button like a thousand times and I'm searching for different covers done by the different really talented youtubers cos they're all sooo good omg. BUT, that is not how I spend every single minute of my holidays even though I really hope it is, cos music is my heaven :) (ps. apart from food of course hahaha)

So, it's father's day tomorrow and I can finally get out of my house to go out and celebrate, and then on Monday I'm going to go to Kelly(ng)'s house to do ACE project in the morning. I just kind of realized that even though I planned to go out quite a bit this holiday, I won't be able to do that cos my results sucked ass so I'll just have to stay at home to revise and mug etc ): It's okay, I'll just have to work harder and do well for EOY so I can get out of the house and enjoy myself during the December holidays. I'm praying that even though I won't get to go out so much this hols, I'll still be able to go out with the girls cos I haven't talked to them in ages ):

On another note, I'm still counting down and 8 more days :)

Hi guys(: I know I tweeted that I'll blog yesterday on twitter the day before but you see, laziness is becoming a really bad characteristic of mine so. There's really nothing much going on for me during this June holidays except for the BSP Camp which I just recently returned from and which I'm still slightly hung over. Really looking forward to and counting down to 11 days from now though at the same time I'm not. Now, you guys must be wondering what's gonna happen 11 days from now. For those of you that actually counted and know what it is, good for you :))) but for those who don't, *MAJOR HINT* you can get me a present HAHAHA. Okay, now back to what I originally wanted to blog about.

Monday

Headed to JB in the morning with my family to shop and visit my grandmother. I initially thought I would be able to play with my younger cousins but apparently school has already reopened for them so they were either still in school or just got back from school ): It was really kind of boring at first I guess but thankfully, my baby nephew was there so I could gush over his cuteness (x100000000000). He's seriously super cute and he makes my day every single time cos the amount of innocence radiating off him is so damn influential, it reminds me of how things were like when I was younger. Someone tell me what in the world I was thinking when I said I wanted to grow up faster. Honestly, growing up isn't even half as fun as it seemed to be when I was younger. Then after playing with my nephew for a while at my grandma's house, I went out with my mum, dad and my cousin to shop though I didn't buy anything cos I didn't see anything that I like. Oh and we went to get ice-cream after that at Baskin Robins and it was so good #foodporn <3 My cousin is like the younger sister that I always wanted yet will never have. I was really close to all my older cousins when I was younger but I guess as we grew older, we start to get really busy with our own things either studying, working, etc and we start to drift apart, so now, I'm closer to my younger cousins who are all so cute and who I all love so damn much. Kind of scared that when I grow older, and when they grow older, we'll start to drift apart, and I'm kind of scared of the whole prospect of drifting apart from people though I think one part of me is already pretty numb by this whole entire 'drifting apart from people' thing. I think I'm scared of losing the people around me. Then after that we went home even though I really wanted to stay there for a few more days ): Looking forward to the next time we go back to malaysia or the next time my cousins come around to Singapore to play (:

I didn't really do much yesterday except try to complete my chinese essay and I rewrote it 3 times till I was satisfied with it. The first essay I wrote, I decided that the topic was just really boring so I changed it. The second one that I wrote, I exceeded the word limit by more than a thousand words and I decided that the ending wasn't to my liking so I changed and edited it again. And I'm really happy with how my final completed essay turned out to be like.

I just lazed around today to read wattpad, and watch my youtube videos, tumblr, eat and now blog. And I tried to complete some of my homework. Keyword being tried haha. Really hope my holidays will get better than it seems to be right now, cos it seems so damn boring at the moment and there's really nothing much to look forward to in the holidays. I hope that the outing with the girls are actually still on and maybe the trip to USS as well :/ but as for now, oh well \o/
