We're the kids our parents warned us about.

Hi guys(: I haven't updated in a really long time cos I've been so busy and I had 4 tests this week so I used a lot of my time this week doing and completing my work, as well as revising my stuff so I haven't really been able to stop and rest or blog for that matter. And I finally have the time to do that today since it's FRIDAY so I shall start now haha :)

Monday
I started off the week really well and everything really went quite right for me that day and for once I actually felt that this year's gonna become slightly better, since almost every week this year has been really terrible and I finally started off the week right(: Had BSP that day and there was this talk by an external speaker so it wasn't as terrible as the other BSP lessons though I still almost slept and we were released late. But I was really determined to not let little things like this ruin my day or week so yeah it was a good day overall :)

Tuesday
Had CCA that day and there were only 3 people that went cos everyone else were either busy or sick or had doctor appointments so it was really crazy when we got there since I had to tutor 3 kids- one really cute p2 boy, the p4 boy that I usually take and his brother who's p5. The p2 and p4 boys were driving me mad cos they were refusing to do their work and they were singing the national day theme song (which is oh so terrible omg) and gentleman and my ears were bleeding lol. And I nearly went mad trying to settle them down and I finally managed to do that afterwards by bribing them with sweets (thank god for sweets :P) but it was a rather good session overall :)

Wednesday
Another 4.15 day but it wasn't only a 4.15 day for me cos I had to stay back for chem supplementary lesson (do you feel my pain?) and since LLH loves delaying our time and release us really early :)))) we were released at 5.50 though he told us that we'll end at 5.15. how early. Oh and LLH asked me what I do not understand in chem and I was like "uhh everything??" LOL And my brain was completely fried that day after the lesson.

Afterwards, I went to the canteen to read Fasting Feasting for E.Lit since I haven't finished reading that book while waiting for Jing Ying to go home with her. Then we met Zhau Yue and Wen Ting at Mountbatten MRT but Wen Ting left first while I went to the toilet so it was only me, Zhau Yue and potato afterwards and I had a good time talking to them even though it was only a while(: I reached home really late though so I rushed through dinner and bathing cos I had to prepare for my maths 1 test and chem practical test the next day.

Thursday
Had 2 tests that day and they were both really horrible. Chem practical was quite hard and I nearly lost track of time so I couldn't complete the last question on the ionic equations but luckily I managed to complete my experiments. We had Maths 1 test right after chem test and it was really horrible cos maths 1 was soooo hard. Matrices was okay but co-ordinate geometry was a killer. I've already lost 7 marks on one of the questions so there goes my A ): But oh well, my world doesn't only revolve around tests so it's okay :) After school, I had geog fieldwork along with my class and some other classes and we went to ECP. We went on a really good day cos the weather was really good and it was windy so I think we were quite lucky. The view there was really pretty too and I had fun doing the fieldwork :) Then after fieldwork when we returned from ECP, I met Jing Ying and Zhau Yue in school coincidentally so I went home with them cos I got pangseh-ed by Kelly Ng for better things like the car :)))) But I found better things (people) like Zhau Yue and potato to go home with so yay (: I was feeling really really hungry so we went to Macs and I treated them to fries and we had ice-cream, and I had a really good time with them cos they made me laugh like mad :)

Friday
TGIF and it's supposed to be a good day but it's not, though I shan't elaborate on that. Then I ate lunch with Kelly Gan and Alyson before going to some chinese song lecture at the PAC with them. Met Michelle in the toilet so she joined us during the lecture. The lecture was just really boring cos I hate chinese songs and it was really hot cos it felt like the aircon at the back of the lecture hall isn't on. After the lecture, I went home with Michelle and Kelly Gan. I had a good time talking to Michelle after Kelly Gan alighted cos I haven't hung out with her in a while so it was kind of a great catch up(:

Hi guys :) It's been such a hectic past week cos of the tests and the piling homework. I swear the teachers are out to make our lives difficult. And just as I thought that our tests has finally ended, every subject just keeps having more tests which just makes it even worse than CTs. My life is so screwed up I can't even... Anyway, I shall do a quick review on the past week.

Last Monday and Tuesday was just the usual BSP and CCA and stuff like that so there's really nothing much to blog about hence why I'm just gonna skip straight to Wednesday.

Last Wednesday
Went for flag raising with Kelly Gan in the morning and the sky was just half gray and half blue so it felt like it'll just start raining at any minute there. Then towards the end of the assembly, when the SCs were just starting to make the announcement like "Good morning school. There is 1 announcement today.", the whole school kind of fell silent, and then there was this sudden gust of wind, and the leaves start flying around and the next moment, SWOOSH the rain just started falling on us and we all ran really really really quickly into the canteen to seek shelter without even ending flag raising properly and before the teachers could tell us what to do. The first few people in front were just really lucky cos they could just run straight into the canteen but the really unlucky people standing at the back (ahem like ME) had to wait for the people in front to move into the canteen before we could seek shelter so I was kind of drenched afterwards and I had geog DRQ right afterwards like yay life. Then geog DRQ was just screwed up cos I totally lost track of time and I couldn't complete the paper and I just wrote 1 or 2 paragraphs for both questions. Pushing that aside, we had E.Lit afterwards and we were supposed to present what we analysed for the short story given to us and my group didn't do anything so we were all silently praying that we wouldn't be called or we'll just get chased out of the class or something and we were just really lucky cos we didn't get called and we had an extra few days to prepare for the presentation. After E.Lit was recess than Financial Literacy which was really fun cos we played this game where we're supposed to learn to take risks and we had to try it with our luck so that whole time, I was just cursing the other groups though it seemed like my group was the one getting cursed till towards the end of the game where we went up to the 3rd place from the last place HAHA. After Financial Lit was assembly where we had sex ed and they showed us this clip and then afterwards they went through some other stuff and there was this really disgusting picture that they showed us. I was quite lag that day so it took me quite a while to realise what the picture was about and I'm like mentally scarred so everytime that picture appears I'll just look away from the screen and cover my eyes cos it's just way too gross. After assembly, we had math and I was just blindly copying whatever the teacher was going through and I had no idea what was going on. After math was LA Lecture then Chinese, before we finally got to go home. I was really tired that entire day but I'm just glad I actually survived a 4.15 day haha.

Last Thursday
1st of August and I started off August on a really terrible note. I woke up to really terrible cramps and even though I already ate the medicine, the pain just didn't want to go away so I was in pain for nearly the whole day ): Then we had chem later in the afternoon and LLH just had to give us back our chem test paper and ooh guess what? I FLUNKED IT. AGAIN. Like no surprise there but I was so pissed off at myself cos I could have done way better if I hadn't lost 6 frreaking marks to the stupid careless mistakes that I made. Example, forgetting to write the state symbol for H2O, and writing "mixing" instead of "reacting". How smart of myself ugh. So that whole time he was going through the paper, I was just cursing at myself and being really frustrated. And imagine adding that on to the pain I felt. Just FML. Anyway, after chem was maths which was just another blind copying session before I stayed back to do LA role play with my group. Afterwards, I waited with Nat for Jing Ying so that we can go home together and we went to Macs first before going home. Nat and Jing Ying really made my day though, cos they were just being so damn funny and epic that I was just laughing like mad half the time, especially with the way Nat deals with Jing Ying's silliness hahahaha. They turned my really bad day into a good one and I was just really happy afterwards :) (Most of the innaeians never fail to make my day and they make me feel really happy, and they make me feel like I'm a part of them and that I belong. That's why I miss everyone in that class so much ): Unlike this new class that I'm in where I just don't seem to know where I belong and it's just so boring and I just can't seem to open up to them even though it's been 7 months and about a week...) 

Last Friday
We went back to Block G on that day cos the year 2s had CTs so we had to exchange classrooms with them. I was personally really hoping to go back to 2I cos it'll bring back so much good memories but no, we had to go to 2C. But when we went to 2C, I was met with a really pleasant surprise. I found the ball that the 2I guys used to play with in class everyday last year and I have no idea why they left it there or how it got teleported 1 floor down but either way, it just brought back loads of memories from 2I <3 We had Bio Practical on that day and I just really hope I won't screw it up. After Bio was ACE where we had our Socratic Seminar. I was the observer so I wasn't that stressed up and I found some of the things that the speakers brought up, really interesting. I had dental appointment after ACE and I had to rush off from school straight for my dental appointment so I skipped lunch that day just for that ): Dental appointment that day was really quick though cos the dentist only changed my braces colour (LOL) so my teeth didn't start hurting like mad like it usually will.

I shall skip Saturday and Sunday since I didn't do much that day and go straight to yesterday (Monday) :)

Monday
I overslept by 25 mins yesterday so I started to panic when I woke up and I left my house at a record timing of 20 minutes. I didn't even realise how messy my hair was till I got to school so I was like: "Oh great, I looked a mess the entire train ride and I didn't even notice." Then I started off with Maths early in the morning with a math quiz (do you see how GREAT my life is) which I'm pretty sure I screwed up (again) cos I had no idea half of what's going on in the quiz so I'm like screw this, I give up. After math was geog where we spent the entire lesson going through on what we'll be doing for our fieldwork as well as the performance task that we have, before going for recess. After recess was 3 periods of chem, and let me tell you, it was pure torture. For that whole 1 and a half hour, LLH just stayed on the same page, on the same table and he just kept going on and on about the same thing. So through out that entire 3 periods, the only thing I caught him saying was Lead Iodide LOL. After chem was 3 periods of LA which was another 3 periods of pure torture cos LA just sucks now and the teacher speaks so softly I have no idea what he's saying the whole time... And then there's assembly where we started talking about NDP and they told us we had to write a short story and I was just saying like "What has that got to do with NDP anyway??" The school or rather the PC department really just doesn't have any logic at all but whatever. Then afterwards, me and Karyn went to the canteen to eat again before BSP, while waiting for Charlotte who was taking her own sweeeeeeeeeeet time. Afterwards, the 3 of us went up for BSP together and we were late for about 5 minutes and I swear none of us knew we were late cos we all thought that we were still early so we just sauntered our way up. Thankfully the teacher didn't scold us though. Me and Karyn went to Macs after BSP while Charlotte went home cos she has tuition afterwards ): I bought a chocolate sundae while Karyn bought a chocolate sundae and fries. So I was being shameless and stealing fries from her HAHAHA. Had a really great time with them both even though Charlotte left first :) Ohh and the guides cookies finally arrived yay :))) I have more food to satisfy me when I'm hungry at home now :) (do you see how much of a glutton I sound like HAHA)

Tuesday
Nothing much happened today except that we just received loads of homework from the teachers for the long weekend we have ahead and there's 4 tests scheduled for next week. There goes my plans for the long weekend ): Then I stayed back after school with Charissa, Xin Hui, Jasmine and Si Hui to do the fragrance packs which we will distribute to the elderly tomorrow during CIP and it was actually quite cool cos I learnt how to make the fragrance packs :) Had lunch with Kelly Gan (who just finished her bio prac make up test) and Jasmine and Charissa (who didn't eat) afterwards before going home together :)

I'm not really looking forward to NDP celebration tomorrow though cos it's not the usual NDP celebration where we get to watch a concert. After the oberservance ceremony in the morning, we have to leave for CIP all the way at Buona Vista and there's no ride home ): And we have to go there to entertain the elderly which is just kind of boring as well but at least it's better than the typical 4.15 day so I shan't complain haha!
